**Your duties as a Care Assistant**:

- Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
- Helping patients with all aspects of personal care e.g., to wash, dress, eat etc.
- To protect the residents from any harm or abuse.
- Supporting with medication, mobility, and other care needs.
- Use manual handling equipment safely and correctly.
- Providing companionship.
- Helping the residents remain active.
- Abiding by health & safety standards.
- Encourage & participate in daily activities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all staff & residents.
- Follow company procedures policies.

**Essential Criteria**
- You must have the right to work within the UK.
- Valid DBS certificate.
- You must be able to communicate effectively and have strong listening ability.
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
- Valid UK/International driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Or the ability to commute
- You need to be 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people.
- The ability to work as a part of a team or individually.
- Be able to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Must be a compassionate person.
- Must have a kind-hearted and caring nature.

**To be considered for the role of a Care Assistant, you will need**:
Enhanced DBS certificate.
Theoretical & practical experience in moving and handling.
Completed all your mandatory training in Health & Social care.
Previous working experience as a care assistant.
Car or access to a vehicle.

Previous care experience is essential. May be required to complete additional training. Single module training can be provided.
