**Technical Sales Representative**

Our client is a family owned, independent, corrugated packaging manufacturer who have been operating for over 35 years. They are committed to providing high-quality goods and services to all customers meeting all requirements and high-quality standards.

They now have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative to join their ever-growing team. Working closely with the internal sales and manufacturing teams, you will represent the company to both current and targeted clients supporting the value-based sales process from a technical standpoint. A key part of our process is to provide consultation, value-based sales, and support to customers.

**Technical Sales Representative - Position Overview**
- Actively engaging with existing and new customers in support of our sales effort.
- Working with existing and new customers to build strong relationships, by providing formal recommendations and proposals as part of the formal bidding procedure.
- Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations, negotiating terms and conditions, and closing sales with customers.
- Work closely with our Technical Design department as required to implement customer solutions.
- Provide customer and market feedback to our Sales & Design department to implement new customer solutions and product developments.
- Communicating with all other Departments at all levels ensuring information is passed efficiently and correctly.
- Instil a culture of continuous improvement and team working by recommending, supporting, and introducing improvement initiatives to develop team performance and to encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Using, iAuditor ensure quality checks are made regularly and that service and product quality meets or exceeds the standards set.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, tidiness and a safe working environment ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry guidelines and the H&S site policies.

**Technical Sales Representative - Position Requirements**
- Strong hunting/prospecting and account management background in a technical packaging environment with a successful track record of new business sales in corrugated packaging, packaging line design experience is a plus.
- Ability to build and maintain executive relationships with customers and influence long-term strategic direction.
- Aptitude and ability to understand packaging equipment and products.
- Commercial acumen to identify opportunities for growth within existing and new accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure retention.
- Enthusiastic sales aptitude/experience in a technical environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Technical Sales Representative - Position Remuneration**
- Starting Salary: £48k
- Performance based bonus
- 30 days holiday
- Company car
- Pension

**Salary**: From £48,000.00 per year
