**Your Role**:
To support us on our collective journey to success we are seeking an Underwriter to join our Construction Team.

**What you'll do**:

- Underwrite a profitable portfolio of new Construction business as detailed in the SBF, Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite documents.
- Utalise approved pricing tools and catastrophe modelling tools.
- Maintain documentation of underwriting files.
- Provide support to Class Leader to ensure timely response to brokers.
- Proactively represent Apollo externally to the market.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience working in a Construction, Engineering or Renewables class of business
- Progress towards professional insurance qualification
- Analytical ability
- Critical thinking
- Team player
- Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework.
- Proactive approach.
- Desire to develop underwriting capabilities
