Welcome to Vella Recruitment We are currently a team of 5, with ambitious plans to grow Vella is a specialist recruitment agency with a combined decade of experience in Town Planning recruitment. We are also closely consulting, and have been highly successful in the Economics, Environmental, Heritage and the Land and Surveying sectors.

Based in Turkey Mill Business Park, we are about to upgrade and double of office size. Wellbeing is important to us, and how you feel at work is a priority. Our new offices offer plenty of light, spacious room for our planned growth in a stunning converted Paper Mill in Maidstone, Kent, right behind Mote Park. We have private gardens, a coffee shop, our own allocated parking spaces and are strategically located to serve both our team and our clients.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

As a Trainee Recrutiment Consultant at Vella your primary roles and responsibilities will be:

- Assisting the Directors in growing a new, strategic desk to complement our existing offering
- Building a strong understanding of the market, being able to speak about relevant industry news and events;
- Maintaining a social media and Linkedin presence to push forward both your own, and Vella’s profile online;
- Managing a dynamic workload. We have opportunities across different sectors so the ability to effectively juggle and maintain a high standard of work across them at all times is required;
- UK and Ireland geography skills. Knowing what distances are commutable or which areas to target and navigating your search accordingly;

**Benefits Package**
- Trainee Recruitment Consultant title (we offer a fixed, transparent promotion structure)
- £18,000 basic salary
- Full time/37.5 hours a week (with flexible arrangement options)
- Uncapped commission structure & incentives (realistic OTE of £25,000 Year 1).
- Annual discretionary bonus
- Health Cash Plan (examples include an allowance for eyewear, dental hygienist, and various treatments/therapies)
- Flexible start time (between 8-10am) so your role works for you
- 20 days a year annual leave, plus Bank Holidays AND a 2-week holiday shut down period at Christmas
