**Supervising Social Worker - Cheshire East Council - Fostering Service - Up to £45ph**

We have 2 vacant posts for supervising social workers, 1 post in the support and supervision team and 1 post in the connected persons team

The post in the support and supervision team primarily involves providing regular supervision to approved foster carers in line with regulatory requirements. The post holder will also arrange and complete annual reviews of foster carers suitability for continuedapproval, as well identifying the foster carers support and training needs and completing action plans to meet those needs. The post holder is also required to participate in a Duty rota

The post in the connected persons team primarily involves completing assessments of family members or friends as potential carers for children known to them. The assessments completed include fostering assessments, SGO assessments, and viability assessments.The post holder will also be required to participate in a Duty rota.
