Furniture Delivery Driver

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare goods for the day, including checking orders, organizing stock, and loading the delivery van
- Receive deliveries, check them against orders, and ensure that they are stored safely and securely
- Drive locally and occasionally nationally to deliver products to customers, including taking and building furniture into customers' houses
- Deliver stock between branches and help bring in stock furniture to the main shop floor
- Manage the warehouse, including organising stock, keeping it clean and tidy, and ensuring that all products are stored safely and securely.
- Assist with stock management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying management when new stock is needed.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.
- Maintain the delivery van, ensuring that it is clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Over the age of 30
- Proven experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse manager
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work holidays when required
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehousing and delivery operations

**Must**

Have a clean driving license, be over 30 years of age.

**Ideally**

Have knowledge of using a Warehousing Management System, have worked with furniture/wood/building items.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
