**Purpose of the role**

As a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse teammates, overseeing the daily activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Your strong management skills, attention to detail, and in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical warehousing processes will be critical to your success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**

Team Leadership:

- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of warehouse teammates to achieve performance goals and targets.
- Provide clear direction, set priorities, and delegate tasks effectively.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development.

Warehouse Operations:

- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), and other applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to create a safe working environment.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the warehouse operations.
- Analyse existing procedures and workflows, suggest and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as transport, quality, and health and safety, to streamline processes and resolve issues.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing and shipment.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including managers and peers, to align goals and expectations.

Documentation and Compliance:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including batch records, shipment records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of pharmaceutical products.

**Experience/Skills Required**
- Proven experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse or distribution center.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical warehousing practices, including GDP, GWP, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure.

**Salary**: £26,812.00 per year
