Salary of £29,000 with overtime payment of £18.50. Holiday 30 Nights INC bank holidays. Any 5 nights out of 7- Base rota being Sunday-Thursday. Either 17:00 or 20:00 start time.

At South Lincs we have an exciting new opportunity coming up within our Warehouse department on Nights. This position would be perfect for anyone who is aspiring to become an line manager or to progress their career further. The experience and skills you would learn throughout this will be invaluable.

**A bit about the role**:
The Warehouse Team Leader is there to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. As a Team Leader you will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards to achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. The Warehouse Team Leader should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectation. As part of a management team you need to be able to direct and control allocated areas of warehouse activity and to contribute to the identification and exploitation of improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis.

**General duties will include, but are not restricted to**:

- To ensure the smooth running of the allocated warehouse shift activity, ensuring appropriate resources (people, equipment) are available to meet planned activity levels.
- Manage the warehouse operatives to ensure all goods are picked, correctly compiled and wrapped, labelled and loaded correctly on vehicles
- Contribute to the identification, evaluation and where appropriate implementation, of improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping on the site and ensuring the site is “Audit Ready” in terms of Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Monitoring staff performance levels, providing feedback on achievement to the shift manager and helping to identify improvement opportunities.
- Proactively make sure that good management practice and all processes are followed in order to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained to company standards and all damages are recorded and stored according to damage procedures.
- Deputise on behalf of line manager as and when required and undertaken additional duties if necessary
- Regular communication with employees on all shifts/patterns

**Salary**: £29,000.00 per year
