We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our team.

The remit of the HR Administrator role will be to provide a high quality and effective HR administration service to Directors, Managers and Employees. Supported by our HR Consultant you will be responsible for all HR Admin, from recruiting to onboarding to managing the employee case log, day to day issues and tasks.

Primary Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring that all new starter paperwork, including right to work documentation is correct, adding employee to the system, Labour plans, employee profile spreadsheet updates, calculating holiday entitlement, issuing clock cards daily, monitoring of absences via return-to-work forms, late & early leave forms, timesheets, and managing the employee case log.
- Informing managers when welfare and discipline meetings are needed, attend relevant meetings, raising letter invites, booking boardrooms, typing notes, issuing relevant outcome letter.
- Attend home visits for welfare meetings when required
- Processing paperwork for leavers, removing from labour plans, archiving files, updating the system, notifying payroll, IT etc.
- Conducting exit interviews, copies of this to relevant managers and archived to employee file.
- Assessing the OH website to obtain medical reports for each employee. Liaising with employee, line manager & HSE manager when co-ordinating appointments with OH and employees, recording and filing sensitive OH information.
- Recording holidays, SSP, Maternity/paternity leave, bereavement leave etc.
- Providing employee reference requests from landlords, mortgage enquiries, letting agencies and obtaining references for new employees
- Updating labour plans with starters, lavers & any departmental movement, sending out labour plans to managers to check on a monthly basis
- Manning totals, sickness absences, agency totals (if any) for monthly board report
- Inform managers when probation reviews are due,issue relevant letter if passed, extended, or failed probation
- System anomalies reports sent out to individual staff employees for confirmation of mis clocks & unauthorised absences.
- Actions from Monthly HR audit report
- Driving License Checks (DVLA)
- Payroll responsibilities - updating employee bank details etc.
- Any other adhoc duties as required

We’re looking for;
- Previous HR and Recruitment administration experience.
- Excellent IT literacy (including Word, Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.)
- The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks on own initiative, sometimes working to a tight deadline.
- Understanding of the requirements of GDPR, confidentiality of records, documents and information.

We are considering applicants for either part time or full time hours.
- (Part time min 30 hours per week - flexible with start/finish times or full time - 39 hours per week)_
- Salary circa £27,500 per annum
- full time 39 hours (pro rata for any part time hours)._
