We opened The Municipal in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back to life. We create memorable moments for all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but also to write their own astonishing tales of the future. We boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the city. Time is of essence and at the heart of The Municipal’s story. Its iconic clock tower and bells giving the tempo to a timeless melody. Various restaurants, bars and a state-of-the-art spa sanctuary including a pool, will offer everyone the place to have the time of their lives, reset the clock and embark upon their own magical journey

**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE EXECUTIVE HEAD HOUSEKEEPER AT THE MUNICIPAL**
- What you'll be doing..._

As Exceutive Head Housekeeper you will strategically run and organise the management of a busy Housekeeping Department, maximising the performance of the team. Supporting in maintaining the cleanliness standards across 179 bedrooms, Spa and vast public areas.

Reporting to the Director of Rooms and Spa, you can expect your working day to include the following:

- Leading a team in delivering the level of cleanliness and a 5* Hotel experience.
- Training and developing a team to deliver success.
- Work closely with Reception and all other relative departments to ensure effective communication and delivery.
- Work closely with the HR Director in identifying and nurturing new and existing talent.
- Completion and monitoring of rotas, payroll costs and driving KPI’s.
- To monitor linen, par stocks and liaise with external stakeholders to drive standards.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**

To succeed in the role of Executive Head Housekeeper, you will need the following qualities and skills;
- Proven track record of successfully establishing, positively leading and directing a team within a busy hotel.
- To demonstrate a passion for the industry and a passion for inspiring a successful team.
- To have a proven pattern of exceptional performance and growth demonstrated by positive guest experiences seen across review platforms.
- Possess excellent organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative. Having the ability and skill to identify and switch between operational and administrative duties dependant on needs of the business.
- Customer focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional levels of guest service and honour the legacy of The Municipal and its history.
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style to engage a team.
- Ability to manage and nurture a team, setting standards whilst being approachable in nature.
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy.
- Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Excellent ability to work collaboratively across all functions and departments within the business.
- Experience of using IT and HR Systems on various platforms (opera / Fourth and ProcureWizard would be advantageous).
- An open, positive, and communicative personality
- Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments.
