The shift pattern for this post is 9.00am - 17.00pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break

Team Secretary - Band 3

Location: Eastwood Health and Care Centre, Drumby Crescent Clarkston.

Department: Older Adult Mental Health Service

The post holder:

- Will ensure that an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative service is delivered to the multi-disciplinary team which comprises of Managerial, Psychology, Nursing, and Occupational Therapy staff within older adult community mental health services across East Renfrewshire HSCP. This will include reception duties, data input, record management and general typing.
- Will have frequent contact with patients/carers, members of the public and staff. At all times they are expected to act in a courteous and professional manner.
- Will be required to deal with referrals and enquiries and also support the general functions and duties of the wider administrative team.
- Must show competence in basic computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualification.
- Must show knowledge of working in an office environment and of operation of office equipment and systems. This may be through formal training or work experience.
- Requires good commend of verbal and written English.
- Requires knowledge of organisation and department gained through prior experience within the organisation, induction or short period or orientation.
- Should be proficient in all Microsoft packages and have a working knowledge of CHI, SSTS, Pecos, EMIS and Job Train.

New employees will undertake an induction/training programme covering all aspects of the role. This would be expected to be completed over a 4-week period.
