**A bit more about the opportunity**:
We are in search for a Psychotherapist who works systemically and adopts a therapeutic and holistic approach to join our central clinical team, providing a clinical service nationally across the National Fostering Group (NFG).

You will support a proportion of fostering agencies, joining teams to work collaboratively to promote the wellbeing and best interests of the children and young people we care for.

You will also support the delivery of the group’s specialist programmes and dependant on skills and experience you may also undertake supervision of other clinicians. You will be a key contributor to the groups bespoke assessment and intervention plans designed for our children and young people, providing advice, information, and training to other members of staff and work multi-professionally with commissioners, and other agencies.

We aim to provide our fostering agencies with a clinical service which is trauma infused and clinically supported to maintain a nurturing and loving environment where our children can flourish. Always putting our children and young people at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and our children and young people are heard, respected, and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.

**Who we’re After**:
The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be required to deliver the groups clinical offer; online clinical consultations for foster carers and independent fostering agencies within the group, facilitate Reflective Practice Groups to staff teams and when location permits direct clinical work for children and young people.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Relevant qualification in Psychotherapy (Minimum of a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling/Psychotherapy)
- Registered with BACP or equivalent.
- Previous experience of paid or voluntary work within a trauma or complex needs setting and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
- Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car. (Desirable)
- Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision.
- Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated speciality
