We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance business partner to join us on a fixed-term 12-month project. This role sits at the heart of the global M&C Saatchi Group, working with the most senior leaders across the business on its most important project.

We are in the middle of transformative change to take the company into the future, which requires the central growth operation to strategically align and operate with intensity.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

As the Finance Business Partner to our transformation project, you will be responsible for driving accountability for numbers relating to the project that have been committed in budgets and tracking the commitment and delivery of the margin improvements within the project. You will also be required to manage the accounting treatment for costs and benefits relating to the project including Capex and Exceptional costs.

This role will require you to use your expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering to support the successful execution and delivery of our transformation initiatives. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide valuable commercial and accounting insights will be essential.

Strong stakeholder management and driving stakeholder accountability will be key to success in the role.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drive accountability for financial commitments (cost reduction and margin improvement) built into the 2024 Budget, that relate to the transformation project.
- Develop and maintain financial models, metrics, and reports, to track project costs, investments, savings, and financial performance against these commitments.
- Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders, to ensure accurate, regular and timely financial information is provided for decision-making purposes, including weekly and monthly reporting.
- Conduct regular cost analyses and assessments to identify potential areas for further savings or improvements.
- Work closely with the finance community to ensure numbers are interlocked between the businesses and the project.

**You Bring (skills & qualifications)**
- Significant experience post accounting qualification.
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar finance role, preferably within a transformation project or change management environment.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse complex financial data from multiple sources.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience in tracking and monitoring savings delivery and financial performance against targets.
