At Cintre we provide person centred care to support people with Autism and Learning Difficulties to maximise their independence and their ability to stand strong, resilient, and unaided. Are you an experienced Support Worker looking to make a difference? We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Team Leader at our Residential home in Clifton, Bristol. **What will you be doing?**

Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the service, monitoring compliance with CQC regulations, relevant legislation and best practice supporting adults with mental health conditions and learning disabilities to develop their potential to the full and to reach their personal goals of independence.

You will:

- Support the Registered Manager in the preparation of rotas for Residential Services, ensuring a suitable mix of Support Worker and Senior Support Worker hours that corresponds with budgeted hours for the service to meet agreed care plans and 1-1 support
- Support the Registered Manager to oversee care for people supported, ensuring needs are understood and focused on achievement of personal goals, maximising independence.
- Alongside Manager, assist the person supported in creating their own person-centred support plan coordinating input from relatives, social workers, medical professionals, managers and colleagues as appropriate.
- Ensure that Senior Support Workers and/or key workers complete key sessions with person supported at least once a week addressing anything outstanding from the previous session.
- Adhere to the required compliance as set out by the CQC Regulatory Framework, supporting the RM ensuring employees are working with the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and adhering to The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2009 in all aspects.
- Ensure employees adhere to policies and procedures and maintain accurate records immediately raising any concerns directly to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, CQC, Local Authority and Safeguarding Sub Committee as required
- Support the RM to ensure the Service is compliant with Health and Safety, Fire, Legionella and other relevant regulations.
- To support DOP to run Cintre House in Registered Manager absence
- Attend and participate in mandatory training and monthly team meetings.
- Ensure that Business development manager receives marketing/good stories/achievements from your service on a weekly basis.

**About You**

We would like you to have the following qualifications/experience:

- NVQ Level 3 or above in Social Care
- Experience of working with vulnerable individuals with various complex needs
- Experience or knowledge of a care specialism such as mental health, learning difficulties and autism.
- Experience of working with the Local Authorities, health professionals, social services, families, and members of the public
- Ability to work under pressure and if necessary, on your own initiative
- Proven experience in being able to work as a part of the team, with a flexible approach to work demands
