(Trainee) Ventilation Surveyor

**Title**: (**Trainee) Ventilation Surveyor - Training Provided**
**Location: South West England & Wales**
**Salary**:up to £25,000 **depending on experience

**Job profile**:
The **Ventilation Surveyor **will be responsible for fulfilling _Social Housing Property Surveys_, and providing the necessary reports and recommendations for appropriate _ventilation products and services _to eradicate issues within tenants properties.

The role will require you to travel within your designated region, complete up to 6 inspections a day within your territory, and inform tenants of your recommendations.

**As a Ventilation Surveyor, your responsibilities will include**:

- To carry out property surveys for accurate quotations to be submitted to customers within targeted time periods.
- Presenting the company’s products and services in a professional structured manner to tenants to ensure they are engaged in the process
- Work in-line with the Regional Sales Manager for the area, to make sure we are delivering a solution that will work for the housing provider
- To communicate with all necessary departments within the Airtech brand in a clear and timely manner.
- Provide a daily update to the scheduling team of completed surveys
- Able to learn, and have an acceptable understanding of building regulations, information papers and other legislation that are specific to the industry

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- **Preferably based in Gloucestershire / Bristol / surrounding areas.**:

- Willingness to learn the surveying process and technical aspects of the role
- Grasps technical issues easily and can deliver solutions to suit the customers’ needs.
- Territory management: needs a structured approach to ensure all surveys are carried out in a timely manner
- Has a flexible approach to difficult concurrent work issues and remains resilient whilst working with conflicting demands.
- Strong communication skills to be able to speak with tenants in a professional manner
- Can work in a range of conditions to complete surveys including small tight spaces, lofts etc.
- Driver’s License - extensive travelling involved, and occasional overnight stays may be required.
