Purchase Ledger Clerk/accounts Assistant

Overview:
**Duties**:
- Process high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice-related queries
- Work closely with the finance team to support the accounts payable function
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a finance or accounting environment
- Proficiency in using Xero accounting software
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to analyse financial data and reconcile accounts accurately
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
