**JOB SUMMARY**:
Reporting into the Senior HR Manager and providing support to c530 employees across multi-sites, the focus of the role is to provide generalist HR support to the business. The role will support and shadow the HR manager, where you will get exposure to everything from HR administration, ER cases, training, and recruitment. Key duties will include;
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Support with HR administration including on-boarding, off-boarding, HR systems, training administration,
- Supporting with recruitment and exposure to ER cases.
- Deal with 1st and 2nd line HR queries from employees and stakeholders
- Supporting the business with HR best practice, HR policies and processors and compliance with employment law
- Assist the Senior HR Manager with the ER case load, including attending meetings and support the Chair, and notetaking for grievances, disciplinaries, performance management etc, drafting outcome letters etc.
- Assisting with the joiner and leaver processes, inductions, exit interviews
- Support on training activities, including administration, and assisting with course bookings, e-learning, HR process training, appraisals, and training plans
- Ad-hoc HR projects work and supporting the HR Manager with all aspects of HR
- Understand the business goals and build strong collaborative working relationships with managers at both HQ and Branches.
- Support, develop and coach people managers to manage all people issues in line with Company policies, ideally resolving issues where possible at an early stage.
- Support with interviews and assessment centres, onboarding and Inductions when required.
- Absence procedure support, including return to work meetings, coaching line managers on the process and levels; Undertaking disciplinary processes at first stage where required.
- Organise Occupational Health referrals and support line managers or HR Manager on long term sickness case management.
- Carrying out investigation interviews, note taking and advising first stage disciplinary and non-complex grievance matters (will involve travel to branches);
- Support probationary process including any in probation terminations and the generation of end of review paperwork.
- Carry out exit interviews and feedback to Senior HR Manager on trends.
- Streamlining and improvements of current processes to enable HR to move to a value-add service.
- Support the regular review of policies & procedures in line with employment law updates.
- Producing regular data in line with HR KPIs
- Assist with project support on an ongoing basis, as and when required.
- Provide cover for the HR & Admin Officer, undertaking administration of all employee-related paperwork, such as employee contracts, new starter packs, absence and holiday system support, contractual change, leaver process.
All employees are expected to be flexible in their duties and responsibilities and may be asked to perform other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of their job and their level of responsibility.
**Person Specification**:
- Previous exposure within a busy HR team and be passionate about a career in HR, ideally studying towards CIPD (continued CIPD qualification will be supported)
- Hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification or have the equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate 1 year+ experience in all aspects of HR.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- High levels of Accuracy
- Demonstrate advisory knowledge and experience including supporting disciplinary, grievance and performance processes.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and efficiency.
- Proficient in computer software packages (Google, Word, Excel)
- Some travel will be required across the UK, so a full clean driving licence is required.

**Remuneration**:Basic Salary (dependant on experience)
