**Job description**

As a **Senior Care Assistant**, your role involves delivering high-quality, individualized care and support to residents during daytime hours. You will prioritize residents' privacy, dignity, and independence, take on the responsibility of supervising and leading the shift and team members, and contribute to fostering a happy and caring atmosphere through collaborative teamwork.

Whether you are conducting a direct observation on a care assistant assisting someone during lunch, ensuring a resident's activities log is completed, providing a detailed handover to the next shift, or assisting a resident with morning dressing.

- Essential:_
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
- Able to work on your initiative as well as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours.

This role does not offer Visa Sponsorship or Visa Switch.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
