Our client site is home to a large international streaming service who make documentaries and films,

As a Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

**A typical day in the life as a Day Security Officer**:

- Monitor of Fire & Security alarm system panel, inclusive of intruder systems.
- To operate internal / external security patrols on a regular basis ensuring familiarity of site layout, building and processes.
- Upkeep of any logbooks and other administrative tasks pertaining to the security desk and work load activities - archiving daily paperwork, clear reporting writing, ID card management, IT movement, records, etc
- Meet and greet visitors, staff in a professional and polite manner, advise and direct and support reception staff during sign in/out process.
- Check and verify entry passes and maintain security awareness.
- Detect and deter unauthorized activity throughout the site and report any suspicious persons immediately to the manager.
- Perform reception duties as set out in assignment instructions.
- Be fully conversant with the layout of the site and be aware of threats and challenges faced by the site.
- Fully conversant with emergency evacuation/controlled movement, to a place of safety procedures at the location.
- Protect the premises, property and personnel from theft, damage and violence; investigating unusual conditions and ensure building is securely locked
