**Maintenance Caretaker**

**Denmark Road, Manchester**

**£21,488 - £22,619 per year**

**37.5 hours per week**

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Caretaker to join our Accommodation Management team, based at Denmark Road in Manchester. This role sits within Sanctuary Students which provides accommodation nationally.

**The role of Maintenance Caretaker**_ _**will include**:

- Reacting to maintenance duties across the site, undertaking repairs and reporting issues which require specialist attention
- Undertaking building checks and audits to maintain a safe and secure environment in line with health and safety requirements
- Carrying out routine works and providing accurate and timely information on progress
- Maintaining an adequate supply of stock and replenishing as appropriate
- Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and cleanliness is maintained

**Skills and experiences**:

- Experience within a caretaking or cleaning role is essential
- Practical skills in identifying and/or carrying out standard repairs
- Working knowledge of health and safety
- Good communication skills allowing you to provide great customer service
- The ability to assess priorities and plan work effectively
