With work now started on our new site we have an amazing opportunity for the role of Construction Co-ordinator reporting to the Site Manager.

**Key Duties**:

- Collaborate with the construction/site manager to provide all the safety needs.
- Constantly reinforce the Health & Safety culture, striving for an accident-free site.
- Responsible for site activity, labour, and materials.
- Liaise with and prepare work schedules for any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Be involved in all aspects of the project, including schedules and budgeting, to ensure that every team member is getting on with their own tasks.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
- Be present for site meetings and provide updates.
- Supervise direct and sub-contractor site staff, assisting with technical and structural matters.
- Prepare construction progress reports from the site to be provided to the Site Manager.
- Maintain records of all construction dates and project costs and the site diary and paperwork.
- Provide the needed documents for all implementations and activities on site.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Degree educated in Construction, Engineering etc
- 3+ years plus in construction role
- Commercial awareness and relationship building skills
- Highly motivated and driven to progress
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Packages
- Ability to work toward tight schedules and deadlines and problem solving
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Full Driving Licence and access to own transport

**Duration**: Full Time Permanent

**Location**: Newry

**Remuneration**: Attractive

**Hours of work**: 8am to 5pm
