**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a motivated and outgoing self-starter with an interest in building positive communities to play a key role towards ensuring that all PhD students funded by the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Designing Responsible Natural Language Processing (NLP) have a positive student experience. The postholder will identify, plan and implement opportunities to develop and enhance the student experience, including extra-curricular activities and peer support schemes. Support will also be provided to other PhD students affiliated with EFI.

This post is advertised as part-time (21 hours per week) and is open ended. We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- HNC/HND or equivalent level qualifications plus relevant work experience **_Or _**School education to standard grade or equivalent plus relevant work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly form effective and trusting relationships
- A customer-focussed mindset and commitment to providing the highest quality of service to students and staff
- Proven skills in planning, organisation, time management, prioritisation of work and working without supervision
- High level creative problem solving and analytical ability
- Ability and confidence to use initiative and independent judgement
- Attention to detail and accuracy
