**Purchaser**

The Purchaser will report to the Logistics Supervisor.

The role involves the purchasing of aircraft parts, consumables and associated materials and it is **essential that you have some experience within aviation purchasing**. This opportunity is working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
- Collate purchase requisitions and create purchase orders for all materials, goods, and supplies
- Sending purchase orders to the suppliers
- Review inventories and order as required
- Review deliveries against the orders
- Track the status of any orders
- Coordination of customs requirements
- Liaison with other departments, particularly the accounting team
- Interact with the suppliers
- Dealing with supplier communications for any materials received
- Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment or reference
- Previous experience in a Purchasing role
- Recognised Part 145 training
- Problem-solving & good decision-making skills
- Methodical with acute attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- A good command of written and spoken English
- Computer literate and familiar with CAFAM and Microsoft office products
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbal and written
- Professional and courteous telephone manner
