**About the role**

This fast-paced, hands-on, operational role encompasses a wide range of generalist HR elements across the full employment lifecycle, and as such provides scope and opportunity for professional development. You can expect to be involved in, but not limited to, the following:

- HR delivery across compensation, benefits, resourcing/retention, terms and conditions of employment, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing programmes, leave and absence, data processing, reporting, payroll, policies, procedures, etc.
- Signposting managers and employees to HR processes and policies, fielding ad-hoc queries, and for sensitive HR issues escalating to other team members where necessary
- Administration and development of HR and related systems, to maximise the value add of current systems, implement new systems as required, and seek opportunities to enhance automation and quality of available data
- Monitor and provide key metrics/data for business and management information, understanding requirements, conducting trend analysis, undertaking benchmarking activities, and providing commentary for regular and ad-hoc reports
- Deliver/support initiatives and projects as part of the People Roadmap, to develop our employee value proposition and resource operations
- Ensure appropriate confidentiality is applied in all we do through effective security/access controls for information/data obtained, processed, and held, in accordance with our obligations under DPA/GDPR

**About you**

You will be passionate about delivering right-first-time administrative services in the people space, to meet the needs of the business, and effectively support all colleagues.

Personally, you will be:

- Highly organised and flexible, with the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team, prioritising and managing individual workload and delivery commitments
- Accurate, and take real pride in all you do, understanding that errors can have significant impacts for the business, our team, and our colleagues
- Willing and able to take accountability and ownership of tasks
- An excellent communicator and have strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate succinctly and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior level
- Able to think beyond current practices, ask if there is a better way of doing things, and propose new ideas/improvements
- Skilled in the use of IT and systems (we are predominantly Microsoft driven) and able to extract, interpret and present data effectively

A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPD) would be advantageous, but we are willing to consider support to achieve this in your role.
