Working as a BIM (Building Information Modelling) apprentice (Level 3) you will be involved in handling and coordinating the BIM models and data and ensuring that it is implemented throughout a project lifecycle.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Work closely with and build working relationships with BIM coordinators and engineers in the business.
- Manage 4D construction simulation models to support planning, short term weekly work plans and daily task meetings.
- Ensure model information is provided which enables setting out of the works, through interaction with the project surveying team and site engineers.
- Actively explore and pursue connections between BIM and the support of on
- site activities, enhancing the awareness of BIM capabilities and encouraging interaction and knowledge share.
- Create detailed drawings in a live model.
- Use a variety of specialist software packages.

**The following experience is required**:

- Construction industry awareness.
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Apprenticeship Overview**:

- Apprenticeship Standard: Digital Technician Level 3
- Apprenticeship Length: 36 months.
- Entry Requirements: Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
