Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for an **BIM Coordinator **to join our team based in Coleshill, Coventry

**What you’ll be doing**

As an **BIM Coordinator **you’ll be working alongside our team helping to deliver the biggest civils infrastructure project in the UK.

**Some of the duties you will have include**:

- Manage the collection and storage of deliverables and outputs taking into account the project BIM processes and protocols
- Actively liaise with BIM Core Team and other BIM Coordinators on the project to ensure an efficient standardised approach to work.
- Lead the integration and co-ordination of supply chain information into the BIM environment, such as survey data, fabrication details and construction sequencing.
- Engage with down-stream users to help improve their work, e.g. set up and sharing of model views and walk-throughs to enhance their appreciation of the design/construction intent and help assist health and safety initiatives.
- Manage, federate and maintain the Sublot asset 4D construction simulation models to engage planning, short term weekly work plans and daily task meetings.
- Manage and facilitate the Sublot BIM o-ordination Workshops and model co-ordination meetings;
- Manage the SubLot Project Information Model (PIM) to ensure review comments and clash reports are closed out and/or mitigated.
- Conduct validation checks on the design model to check they contain the agreed level of information and in the format required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to aid the ongoing management of the Project Information Model, through active interaction with the wider project team
- Proficiency in IT
- Proficient in using CAD authoring and model review software
- A good knowledge of the UK BIM standards and BIM Level 2 requirements
- Experience and enthusiasm in developing the skills of others - expected to coach and disseminate knowledge to team including apprentices, graduates and more experienced members of the team.
- Drive for continuous improvement and finding more efficient ways of working.
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
