**Here at White Rabbit we are obsessed about making delicious Free From Italian Food available nationwide. We deliver to a wide range of companies and supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Coop and many more.**

**We are currently recruiting a buyer to join our team here at the bakery located in Chalgrove (Oxfordshire - OX44 7RW).**

**Working hours will be 9am-5pm five days per week, with 1 day per week remote working.**

**Your role as Buyer will consist of**:

- Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management.
- Identifying areas for raw material cost improvement to continually drive performance and business results
- Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business costs
- Creating policies and procedures for RM risk management and mitigation

**The role will also extend to**:

- Implementing negotiation results
- Daily stock control and ERP purchasing management
- Order placing & tracking deliveries
- Supplier and material data control
- At least three years experience as a Material Planner, Stock Controller or within a similar supply chain role
- Proactive and independent working mindset as well as ability to work within a small team, reporting straight the Operations Director.
- Strong organisational and communication skills - both written and verbal
