**Job Title**: Senior IT Engineer

We are a leading MSP based in Wolverhampton and we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems and networks.
- Diagnose and repair IT related equipment and systems.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, security and availability.
- Perform routine network maintenance, including backups and system upgrades.
- Assist in developing and updating technical documentation.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

**Technical Skills Required**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, Networking protocols and LAN/WAN networks.
- Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office products.
- Configuring & Supporting Microsoft 365 security technologies
- Experience with cloud-based services such as Hosted Exchange & Hosted Desktop.
- Server Management utilising Hyper-V or VM Ware.
- Experience planning & implementing cyber-security solutions across cloud & local environments.
- Knowledge of the Veeam range of backup and replication solutions.
- VOIP Telecommunications systems such as 3CX.
- Experience working on a helpdesk to ITIL standards in an MSP environment.
