Channel Strategy Lead

**Your Key Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Work as part of a collaborative team to create innovative and customer focused go to market plans. Execute the marketing strategy to drive company growth.
- Deliver both promotional & non-promotional campaigns, tactics, and activities to our customer engagement teams, spanning Retail, Primary Care and Hospitals. Inspire the teams to position the Sandoz brand and commercial initiative marketing assets to ensure product pull through in line with the outlined strategic imperatives for that customer / channel.
- Manage end-to-end development of relevant, useful, and practical content; developed with a customer-in mindset
- Regularly engage with key customer / stakeholder groups and use these interactions to identify useful insights and opportunities that support the success of the strategic plan & Sandoz brand.
- Identification and end-to-end management of sophisticated events; including large congresses, speaker events and online webinar/webcast meetings.
- Deliver outstanding project management and governance across all of your projects, both within the marketing team and across the cross-functional team
- Monitor initiative/product/launch performance and the external environment, using appropriate tools and taking corrective action if required to meet business objectives & KPIs.
- Responsible for managing a marketing budget alongside other members of the brand management and cross-functional team.
- Lead by example and challenge the status quo through inspiring others to think differently. This new way of thinking and behaving will enable a new relationships and brand positioning with customers/channels in the market.
**What you’ll bring to the role**:
**Essential Requirements**:
- Experience in a generics marketing and/or account leadership role within the UK generics Pharmaceutical Industry particularly designing customer-facing go-to-market plans / commercial initiatives to drive company growth.
- Experience in launching new products and services into both primary and hospital specialist sectors.
- Experience in dealing with the needs of the UK Pharmaceutical industry, specifically, NHSE (+ devolved) ICS / ICB, Pharmacy (both independent & national chains), wholesale, PAGs, and external agencies.
- Experience in liaising with Commissioners and prescribing budget holders
- Generics-focused Omni channel experience is desirable, particularly having a technical understanding of digital marketing and digitally targeted advertising
- Strong knowledge and understanding of working on projects where you have partnered or collaborated with Healthcare systems in the UK.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role OR be able to demonstrate project work where customer relationships have been critical
- Capable at developing concise management/project reports with an aptitude for MS PowerPoint & Excel
- Understanding of ABPI code / MHRA Blue Guide or equivalent
- Knowledge of NHS trading environment and current drivers of change and how these translate into commercial opportunities for Sandoz
