**Job Opportunity - Communications Manager**

Venn Group are currently working on a position with a highly-regarded organisation based in Cambridgeshire, to source a Communications Manager for the following assignment:

Location: Cambridgeshire (hybrid working, two days on site)

Contract: 6 months+

**Salary**: £16.96 per hour plus holiday pay

Hours: Full time

**Your duties will include**:

- Delivering the social media strategy to position the organisation on core topics that align with business strategy and grow the online presence with target audiences, including management of all social media channels
- Managing the internal production of publications, using online planning tools; working with portfolio teams; providing quality assurance checks; and ensuring deadlines are met
- Managing the devolution of communication to the organisations portfolios by providing teams with strategic comms guidance and training on their publication process, digital systems & social media
- Scheduling and delivering communications content to support the marketing and communications team in positioning the organisation on core topics that align with their strategy
- Managing the delivery of cross cutting communications campaigns and major initiatives that require coordination of web, social, PR and design; liaising with internal portfolio teams and ensure deadlines and campaign goals are met
- Liaising closely with external partners to ensure organisations work is positioned and aligned for key campaigns and milestones
- Managing the staff communications site of SharePoint Intranet including new digital asset library and communications toolkit
- Providing support for face to face and online events, including marketing materials, management of logistics and guest lists; exploring new event opportunities and liaising with internal clients and external suppliers
- Experience of managing social media channels and nurturing/growing online communities (including working across all platforms, knowledge of measurement/analytic tools & delivering campaigns)
- Experience of writing for broad range of channels: social, web stories, communications campaigns marketing campaigns
- Experience of communicating complex information to a diverse audience
- Experience managing & delivering online events
- Technical skills in using a broad range of digital systems and social media channels
- Excellent planning, project management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to use web content management systems
