The Early Help and Safeguarding Performance Team are recruiting to a Data Support Officer vacancy. The post will support the Children, Young People and Family Services and its partners, including health and schools to identify families as part of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Supporting Families programme. The post forms part of a virtual performance team in the delivery of outcomes oriented to services which promote children and young peoples’ health, safety, achievement, enjoyment, contribution and economic wellbeing within the City of Kingston upon Hull.

You will work to the Principal Manager for Early Help and Safeguarding, contributing to the outputs of a dynamic and responsive team and have close professional working relationships with members of other teams including Early Help, Childrens Social Care and other partners.

You will undertake take a supporting role in the identification, collection, collation and aggregation of raw data, alongside the provision of timely and accurate analyses to support the delivery of the Supporting Families programme and the identification of outcomes and trends.

You should have experience in electronic methods of data aggregation and manipulation and experience of working within an operational support role specifically within Children, Young People and Family Services.

You will need to have a supportive and enabling approach to working with service providers and be able to engage with senior managers within both the service and its partners.
