**The role of Room Leader**

Welcome to the heart of Kido, where passion, ambition, and people are at the core of everything we do As a Room Leader you’ll be more than just a leader; you’ll be an ambassador for our values, and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture.

We set the bar high, aiming for nothing less than greatness, and your role will be instrumental in achieving that. You’ll take full ownership of your room, taking learning outcomes and transforming them into inspiring classroom experiences for the children to thrive.

You’ll be a team player ensuring that you and your team meet the unique needs of each child, leading your room team to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards for child learning and development. You’ll ensure the educators in your classroom take ownership of observing and assessing their key children, and you’ll support them in setting goals for each child. But it’s not just about the children - you’ll be a role model for excellence, accountable for your team following standards and driving the growth, development and progression of your team.

You’ll be an integral part of setting the stage for curiosity and exploration, utilising both indoor and outdoor spaces. With a hands-on approach and with great attention to detail, you’ll deliver exceptional experiences throughout the children's learning journeys within our nursery. An ability to effectively communicate with parents, children and colleagues will set you apart and aid us in delivering the best experience possible, especially the parents of your key children.

**About Kido Clerkenwell**

Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We are international in India, USA and the UK, running 13 (soon to be 14) Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding nurseries in and around London. We blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches. This magical fusion, combined with state-of-the-art learning spaces and 21st-century technology, brings a whole new level of wonder to early years education at Kido.

Kido Clerkenwell is located in a repurposed church hall and features large indoor and outdoor spaces, tall windows and skylights that provide the perfect amount of natural light during the day. The main garden is vast, thoughtfully divided into activity zones with a separate garden just for babies, plus an allotment area to learn in nature. Clerkenwell is a 60 place nursery, is rated 9.9 on Day Nurseries and was our very first UK Kido As one proud parent recently shared, _“The team at Kido Clerkenwell is amazing.
