**Description**:
Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a specialist engineering company in the recruitment of an Internal Sales Assistant.
Working with a small, established and friendly team, this is a varied role that will involve the following:
SUPPORT THE SALES TEAM ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS
LIAISING WITH CUSTOMERS BY PHONE AND EMAIL
RECEIVE ENQUIRIES AND QUOTE OR PROCESS SALES ORDER
ISSUING ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS TO CUSTOMERS BY EMAIL
PROCESSING CARD PAYMENTS
MANAGE WEB SHOP / EBAY ORDERS AND PORTALS
FOLLOW UP ON QUOTES / FEEDBACK ON LOST ENQUIRIES
LIAISING WITH SUPPLIERS BY PHONE / EMAIL TO CHECK STOCK AND DELIVERIES - UPDATE CUSTOMERS WHERE NECESSARY
PLAN AND MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR SALES TRIPS, SHOWS, EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS
CONSULT WITH SUPPLIERS REGARDING STOCK PLANNING FOR CERTAIN LARGE CUSTOMERS
ISSUING OF SALES ORDERS TO THE WAREHOUSE FOR DESPATCH
LIAISING WITH COURIERS FOR SPECIAL 1 OFF DELIVERIES / COLLECTIONS - MAINLY EXPORTS
GENERAL ADMIN DUTIES AND LIAISON WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS WITHIN THE COMPANY
