Interventions Alliance Activity Hub are seeking enthusiastic and reliable people for the position of Activity Hub Volunteer in Bristol. The Activity Hub is a space where participants who are on probation can engage in fun and educational activities. The main role of the Activity Hub Volunteer is to support professionals in running activities and sessions for participants, as well as engaging with and supporting participants directly.

Participants being people who have lived experience of the criminal justice system. As such, volunteers would need to be open-minded, non-judgmental and able to maintain professional boundaries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist professionals in delivering sessions for participants
- Engage with participants and provide support during activities and sessions
- Encourage participation and positive interactions between participants
- Help plan, set up and tidy up activity areas
- Report any concerns or issues to the professionals in charge
- Complete role specific training
- Complete volunteer admin (paperwork and logging hours) in a timely manner
- Adhere to relevant policies such as confidentially, information security and safeguarding

**Requirements**:

- Non judgmental and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting vulnerable individuals with convictions
- Basic IT Skills, reliable and committed to attending weekly volunteering sessions
- Must be over 18 years old

Commitment: This is a long-term volunteering position with a commitment of approximately 2/3 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. Volunteering sessions take place during business hours (9am-5pm) at the Activity Hub in Bristol. We cover out of pocket expenses provide training and pay for your enhanced DBS.
