**About Our Client**:

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise a team of credit controllers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the effective management of accounts receivable.
- Monitor and manage the aged debtor's ledger, actively pursuing collections and negotiating payment terms when necessary.
- Analyse credit risk and recommend credit limits for clients, balancing risk and opportunity.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Generate regular financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve credit control processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Proven experience in credit control, including experience in a in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant financial laws and regulations.
