We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team.

To act as the local logistics lead for the Logistics function, deputising for the Logistics sites lead as required.

To manage and develop the operational and strategic management of the Supply Chain and Logistics Team at a nominated sites

To manage and develop competent, committed teams at the nominated sites capable of translating customer needs into delivered goods and services.

Ensure at sites the provision of a professional and customer focused replenishment service to user departments through the local Supply Chain and Logistics Team.

Ensure the sites team is well trained and has the resources to maintain an efficient replenishment process and cost effective stock levels.

Maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders at the sites

Assist the Head of Supply Chain with managing all aspects of the NHS Supply Chain supplier account

To use their initiative and work independently with a minimum level of supervision.

To ensure that all departmental objectives are met in an efficient and timely manner.
