**MP&L Supervisor - Job Summary**:
We’re supporting our client, leading manufacturer based in Basildon, who are looking for a MP&L Supervisor to join their growing team. The successful MP&L Supervisor will have experience of material scheduling, production planning and product logistics ideally from an automotive manufacturing environment.

**Salary**: £35,000 - £40,000

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to endure
- Take ownership of material and production planning issues that arise, including over and under delivery and take any follow up actions especially in the event of material shortages that effect production.
- Seek and recommend solutions to overcome issues arising in order to meet production requirements and address operational risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing 6 direct reports, offering them coaching and development
- Oversee labelling processes to ensure correct parts/ finished assemblies reach correct customers at the correct time.
- Liaise with the warehousing department to plan daily transport activities taking into account customer / sub-contract requirements.
- Ensure strategic and operational information, reports and metrics are available to share and with others in the business as and when required.

**About You**:

- Proven experience as MP&L Supervisor in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong IT skills
