Our client, are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager to oversee the development of new business and ensure continued recurring revenue. The main focus of thisrole is to develop new business which will then provide recurring revenue for the company. You will work closely with your team in order to drive up profits and secure contracts/continued growth. This role is 100% new business generation although envisagedto move to a ratio of 70:30 maintenance to new business after the first year.

This position is mostly remote with occasional travel into Bristol for meetings at the company office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee revenue streams from servicing, new installations and small works, ensuring maximum profitability
- Identify and leverage existing customers and networks as well as develop new customers and networks to expand business
- Assist with the development of a regional sales plan to increase revenue growth
- Work with marketing to develop and implement lead generation campaigns
- Deliver structured presentations to win business from targeted customers, using industry experience and strong negotiation skills
- Ensure sales revenue and minimum gross margin targets are met, producing a monthly sales forecast in line with sales targets
- Assist with the development of bid documentation, focusing on pricing
- Conduct site visits in order to gather the information necessary to create competitive bids
- Produce technical quotes, using company standard pricing to ensure correct margins are achieved
- FIA Units 1-9
- In-Depth knowledge of BS5839
- Ability to compile technical quotes
- Previous fire alarm experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Desirable to have prior success selling maintenance contracts

**Salary**: £38,000 - £40,000 + commission

**Benefits**: Car allowance of £3k
