**Quote Specialist**

**Job description**:
Leads SDS tendering process for regional service centers and or the Global Service Line (GSL). Completes SDS tenders by producing a quality bid package that meets customer’s requirements and complies with Company procedures, guidelines and business processes.

**Main accountabilities**
- Responsible for understanding and articulating the ITT/RFQ requirements, creating key milestones for tender deliverables and the tender responsibility matrix prior to the tender kick-off meeting
- Lead meetings and facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, monitor progress on tender deliverables, identify and track potential risks for on-time delivery and project manage deadlines to meet tender due dates and complete tender
- Perform SDS equipment and services cost/price analysis while maintaining the risk log in preparation for Submit Meeting with management prior to receiving authorization to submit proposal to internal/external customer.
- Manage creation of final tender package, ensuring quality of proposal deliverable. Support Account Managers/Business Development Managers in post-tender customer clarifications
- Insures at that all tender related documents are saved to the SDS Tendering Sharepoint/Teams site for easy retrieval to address customer clarifications and quality audits.

- Leadership and influencing skills to motivate a cross-functional team to complete tender deliverables
- Problem solving skills, able to compare and interpret detailed information and understand the impact on the SDS business
- Project management experience including risk management

**Competencies**

**Essential**:

- BA/BS or Masters/MBA (Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Cost Accounting)
- 4 to 6 + years experience or an equivalent combination of direct experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate in English
- Experience working with Company Tendering and planning software - SAP, iTwo and Contract Work Space
- Good interpersonal skills to work in a team orientated and multi-cultural environment

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry and Subsea business
- Understanding of subsea wellhead products and services
- Knowledge of subsea wellhead market and competitors
- Experience working with International Customers
