- **Permanent, full time (Based in Ipswich)**_
We’re looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join our Export USA & Caribbean trade team. They will work closely with both the Sales teams to develop business pricing enquiries using all communication channels. Relationship building is an essential partof this role, both internally with other departments, with Agency Offices abroad, Head Office, and with new and existing customers.
**Core responsibilities**:
- Exploring opportunities to increase volume by developing closer customer relationships
- Develop new and existing business from pricing enquiries and ensure quotations are followed up
- Identifying and promoting attractive business opportunities to our HQ
- Work closely with Geneva Liner team and Sales to proactively retain and grow accounts
- Mindful of contribution toward overall Trade revenue targets
- Ensure quotations are processed in a timely, accurate manner within agreed KPI’s
- Ensure freight rates and landside charges are accurately communicated and filed within Tariff Management Systems
- Strong communication and liaison across the Commercial teams and the wider business, particularly MSC Geneva, to ensure full commercial and operational support is given the Trade
- Supporting the team as back up where required handling reporting, queries and resolution
**Qualifications, skills and experience**:
- Desire to acquire new and nurture/develop existing business
- Communicate with confidence and interact professionally at all levels
- Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills will help but are not a necessity
- Flexible attitude to meet deadlines with proven time management skills
- A balanced, results driven approach
- Be a team player with a flexible can-do approach to work
