**Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper**

Location**:Weston-super-Mare**

**Salary**: Competitive, depending on experience

Hours: Part-time, June (exact hours to be discussed)

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records using Sage Accounts.
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time using Sage Payroll.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including PAYE, NI and Pension contributions.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and petty cash.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Manage purchase and sales ledger, including supplier payments and customer receipts.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of annual accounts and liaise with external accountants.

Key Requirements:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of Sage Accounts, Payroll and Pension Module.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and statutory regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a small team.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
- AAT qualified or equivalent would be advantageous.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £18,394.64-£27,719.11 per year
