Admin Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
At our office you will be responsible for several functions but your main responsibilities will be to assist the staff, management and customers for a seamless business operation. Some of your duties will include:
- Managing office operations, dealing with staff, customers and guests.
- Dealing with any sales enquiries by taking all details and then passing to the relevant manager.
- Organising meetings and scheduling appointments and keeping records and minutes of all the meetings.
- Conducting administrative and office workflow duties including efficient use of IT and office cloud-based services.
- Assisting staff and providing feedback to improve internal performance ensuring all administrative procedures are completed in time and adhered to.
- Performing data entry role, including updating records and databases for personnel, financial and legal information.
- Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and organising all relevant documentation and records.
Skills and Qualifications
A successful Admin Assistant will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications needed for their duties, including:
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Presentation skills and customer services knowledge.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in a related role such as Office Assistant, Receptionist or other relevant position (preferred)
- Knowledge of computer programs used in daily office administration functions such as word processors, spreadsheets and specialised office management tools.
- Proficiency in filing and paper management, including the ability to manage business correspondence and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people.
Education and Training Requirements
Working knowledge of security industry would be preferred but not essential as relevant training will be provided.
OFFICE TIMINGS
From 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday with half an hour break. Based and operating from our Head Office in Watford.
SALARY
£20,400 annual
