**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct Detailed Surveys: Perform comprehensive surveys of properties to identify damp, timber, and other related issues.
- Diagnose Problems: Accurately diagnose the causes of dampness and timber decay and recommend suitable treatment options.
- Prepare Reports: Produce detailed and accurate survey reports, including photographs and diagrams, to outline findings and recommended solutions.
- Sales and Customer Service: Engage with potential clients, present findings, explain treatment options, and close sales. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Follow Up: Maintain contact with clients post-survey to answer any questions, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay Updated: Keep up to date with industry standards, new techniques, and products to offer the best solutions to clients.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in damp surveying and/or sales within the property preservation industry.
- Certification: Relevant qualifications or certifications in damp proofing, timber treatment, or a related field are preferred.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
**Communication**:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-specialists.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in surveying, reporting, and documentation
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using relevant software and technology for survey reports and communication.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.

Pay: £52,262.54-£84,952.59 per year
