**About the Role**

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking business as a People Advisor. This is a diverse role providing a range of People services, with the goal of supporting the business to drive best practice in the People engagementand support space and continuing to make BJSS a great place to work for all our people.

In this role you will be providing high quality day-to-day advice and support to the people leaders across the business. You will work to support them through employee relations cases, formal processes and meetings.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Work with local leadership teams to provide day-to-day advisory support.
- Manage employee relations issues as required.
- Assist in the facilitation of formal meetings as needed.
- Assist people-leaders with the investigation and management of employee relations cases (e.g. performance management, disciplinary, grievance etc).
- Assist in the design and delivery of training for, people-leaders on a variety of internal processes (e.g. our management 'playbook’) and wider HR topics.
- Support the Operations team with business-as-usual People processes when required (e.g. salary and bonus review, benefits administration, payroll change information)
- General HR information reporting, i.e. sickness, leavers etc
- Review and advise on change to People processes to drive efficiency and best practice.

**About You**
- A strong HR Generalist/ People Advisor with experience working within a similar role in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Highly creative, with the ability to 'think outside the box’ when approaching complex people issues.
- Skilled at offering pragmatic employee relations advice to people leaders.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and the ability to translate this into clear, usable information/actions.
- Highly adaptable; open to change and willing to 'muck in’ to get the job done.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; the ability to build relationships, understand needs, and offer considered guidance.
- An enthusiastic team-player, while still self-driven and able to work without frequent support.
- A confident, credible, and approachable manner.
- A proactive, flexible and positive work style.
- Experience of working for an international organisation would be a bonus but not essential
