DENSO Automotive UK Ltd is based in the heart of the UK automotive industry and provides development engineering and account management for a number of car makers.

The Company is seeking a HR Administrator to support the HR Manager. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their HR knowledge and be involved in a fully generalist role.

**Overall Job Purpose**

As HR Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, providing guidance as required and escalating as appropriate. You will be responsible for administering and co-ordinating all aspects of the employment lifecycle in a professional manner.

It is essential that you can operate well within a team, processing high volumes of work, ensuring exceptional attention to detail within agreed timeframes.

**Main Tasks of the Job**
- Acting as a point of contact for employees on HR matters, handling effectively or escalating where necessary
- Maintaining the HR Management System; ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date
- Administering all HR-related documentation, including personnel records, sickness and absence management
- Assuming responsibility for the completion of all HR administrative tasks pertaining to the employee lifecycle, which may involve regularly chasing people managers
- Administering the flexible benefits and pension schemes
- Updating HR policies and procedures
- Providing general administrative support including filing, archiving, note-taking and general correspondence
- Ensuring that where appropriate any people-related queries or employee relations cases are efficiently and correctly recorded and escalated to the HR Manager accordingly
- Preparing monthly KPI reports
- Assisting with HR audit preparation
- Assisting with monthly payroll exception reporting
- Administering performance management and training system, including reporting
- Administering annual processes (appraisals, promotions, salary reviews, bonus calculations)
- Raising and receipting of purchase orders as required
- Assisting in the arrangement of external training courses and carrying out administration activities
- Assisting staff seconded from overseas with aspects of UK life (housing, family and cultural matters)

**Personnel**: No direct supervisory responsibilities, but the role requires a colleague with the confidence and capabilities to work on their own initiative and with others in a team environment.

**Planning**:Own time management to ensure timely production of all required reports and achievement of tasks.

**Skills**:

- PC Skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Reporting from external HR system
- Communication and interpersonal skills

You will be based at the Coventry office and employed on a Hybrid working contract. You will be required to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office and the remainder of the working week from home.

To support your induction to your role, the number of office working days will be increased in the first six months of your employment.
