Technical Ifa Administrator

We are looking for an experienced IFA administrator or paraplanner to join our small, but well-established team in Glasgow. This position is office based and located near Blythswood Square.

The Role
- Processing and checking all aspects of pension and investment administration
- Administration of client paperwork
- Completing review reports for clients
- Carrying out technical and product research
- Complete new recommendation reports
- Prepare Cash Flow Analysis/reports for clients

Knowledge and Experience

You must have an in depth knowledge of the following:

- Arrangements of SIPPs and various other pension plans
- Pension Drawdown planning
- Annual Allowance and Lifetime Allowance
- IHT and Estate Planning
- Trusts, Tax Allowances and Tax Planning
- Investment bonds/taxation - surrenders/withdrawals
- Protection, including Keyman Insurance, Relevant Life and Group Schemes.

Skills Required
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using Xplan or something similar
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
- Professional communication manner, both written and verbally

Additional Information and benefits include:

- Working hours: 9am-5pm (Monday to Friday)
- Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
