Warehouse & Yard Assistant

**Minster in Challow is recruiting now for Warehouse & Yard Assistant. We are a construction materials supplier with an extensive range of insulation, roofing and dry lining products.**
As a Warehouse & Yard Assistant, you will have one of the most important roles within the branch network.
**What will I be doing in the role**:
- Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in the yard and warehouse areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Working both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, whatever the weather
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
**Working Hours**: This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5pm
**Suitable Applicants will ideally Be/Have**:
- Proven experience working in a similar role, either in a warehouse or a yard
- Experience in a customer facing role.
- Experience with Fork Lift Truck driving would be beneficial, however full training will be given
- Methodical, with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
