**What We’re Looking For**:
Radcot Groundworks Ltd are looking for an eager and quick to learn individual to work in our office and assist in a wide variety of tasks involved in running a successful Groundworks Company.

Experience and knowledge in groundworks and civil engineering would be desirable, but an interest to learn is also highly valued.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
Knowledge or experience in at least one of the following areas would be highly sought after, however, guidance and/or training in any area is available.

This list is not exclusive, any other areas or service that you would like to offer, or learn alongside, would be encouraged. Training can be provided, and paid for, where necessary.

**1) Procurement**:
a) Communicating with the site and suppliers to arrange deliveries of building materials, aggregates, muck away and any hired in tools or plant.

b) Obtain prices for tenders and upcoming jobs and assist the estimator with take-offs.

**2) Health and Safety**:
a) Produce risk assessments and method statements for all required tasks relating to each specific site.

b) Have an understanding of other general site health and safety, such as: COSHH/HAVS/Construction Phase plans.

c) Monitor and arrange orders of PPE so that we maintain stock for when site request it.

**3) Office administrative tasks**:
a) Take phone calls and pass relevant calls onto the correct people.

b) Be a keyholder for the office. Be entrusted to open up/lock up accordingly.

c) Experience of ‘Sage’ and payroll processes to keep timesheets and job costings.

**4) Adhoc activities**:
a) Organising and maintaining the office, dry store and yard to allow for efficient stock checks of materials and tools.

b) Occasional tipper truck loading and driving to builders’ merchants and sites.

**Pay: £25,000 - £40,000 (depending upon experience).**

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
