As our Director of Finance and Resources - reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer - you will be a key member of our senior leadership team. You will be responsible for providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure we havethe appropriate controls, procedures and people systems in place to maintain the levels of financial strength and operating efficiency needed for us to achieve our strategic aims.

This role will also see you assume strategic responsibility for our Operations portfolio spanning finance, governance and compliance, IT, human resources, facilities, legal, and procurement functions services, while managing a small team of expert functionalleads in each specialist area.

This role will see you run a small team of expert functional leads spanning numerous areas. As a result, strong leadership skills - and experience of leading a team at a senior level - will be paramount in enabling your team to grow, develop, and collaborativelywork towards achieving our strategic aims.

Additional key skills and abilities for this role include:

- A demonstrable background in finance, governance and compliance, strategic business, and innovative business transformation/change.
- Strong knowledge of government spending, and an aptitude for delivering outstanding value for money wherever possible.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including project planning, prioritisation, and time management.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- A proven ability to assess complex information and risks to make organisational decisions.
- Financial qualifications or a degree in Finance, Accounting, ACCA, CIMA.
