The Jefferies FIG team currently consists of ~15 bankers covering the European FIG universe. The FIG team at Jefferies mainly advises banks, insurers, asset managers, specialty finance companies, FinTechs, and PE firms across all corporate finance products. Our team is focused on both coverage and execution, offering our clients a one-stop solution for all their corporate finance needs - whether advising on a merger, providing financing for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering. We work in conjunction with country coverage, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets (ECM), financial sponsors group (FSG), debt capital markets (DCM), and UK corporate broking.

We are looking for a well-rounded mid-level Analyst / Junior Associate with a strong background in M&A transactions, ideally in the FIG world from a top bank or accounting firm.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities are:

- Examining the strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions for marketing purposes
- Constructing financial models and performing financial analysis of companies and assets
- Working within a team assisting seniors in preparing marketing materials, information memoranda and data rooms, and co-ordinating the team’s (transaction) processes
- Supporting cross-business development initiatives and executing live transactions to include: in-depth market research (e.g. identification of acquirers/targets, transactions, market activity); detailed company profiling and analysis; compiling and managing databases; assisting with production of client presentations and documents (e.g. pitch books, process timetables and letters, valuation materials, etc.)
- Involvement in client meetings and on client calls
- Project management skills
- Required to coordinate and work with all other product, geography, and industry teams, including M&A, leveraged finance, DCM and ECM
- Working well with others within and across group and learning from existing team expertise
- Demonstrating integrity, being seen as a respected role model
- Maintaining professionalism at all times and encouraging others to do so
- Coaching, developing, and motivating the Analysts

**Qualifications**:
The following skills and experience are required for this role:

- Outstanding academic credentials - minimum of bachelor’s degree with a 2.1 or equivalent grade
- Strong numerical and financial modelling skills
- Prior FIG experience is strongly preferred
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong client management skills
- Desire to learn and develop a broad set of skills to become a full service, FIG banker
